Anita Barone
Anita Barone is a versatile stage actor, but she's limited to TV sitcoms. Her first success in this genre as she got married to Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a season which aired on ABC between 1995 until 1996. Barone was on stage for the first time at five years old in Detroit following the move of her family to the city from St Louis. She was in the stage for more than 50 productions by the time of 23, mostly for university productions and regional theatres. She portrayed Juliet as the twisted young nun in "Agnes of God," Helen Keller, the protagonist in "Monday After the Miracle,"" and Juliet also as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet." In 1987, she had the role in a film known as "Ricochet". Also, she played a character in "The The Rosary Murders". In 1996, she played the role of the lead actress in an independent romantic comedy named "Just Friends". Her first Hollywood work of note was in the stock company for "Carol And Company" (NBC in 1990 and 1991) in the disastrous effort of Carol Burnett to revive the sketch comedy show that aired on a variety channel. Barone has also appeared in a"Wounded Heart" USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". She then returned to her regular sitcom season, co-starring alongside Michael Chiklis in "Daddio" (NBC 1999).
